"These are awakening tears", she replies.
They fill my determination yet, drain the emptiness.
They comfort the sadness,
give hope for the inevitable,
and show no mercy for their audience.
These are not tears of pity of oneself,
nor of calling of another’s guilt.
No, they call my soul;
which comes and embraces my heart,
filling it with warmth and certainty;
fading out the echo of silence,
sitting within, holding my body,
gently easing my mind,
reflecting my lessons,
showing purpose and meaning.
My tears are divine water found within.
They cleanse the impurities of my wrongs and those of others,
allowing my eyes to see reality.
